AAPP V3.6 Update Release, 28/04/2003

This release contains the following file, for copying to the specified
directory:

amsub_clparams.dat  --> .../AAPP/sources/calibration/amsubcl/amsub_clparams.dat

To activate the files in your AAPP you have either

1. to copy the files also to the directories where they are read from

amsub_clparams.dat  --> .../AAPP/data/calibration/coef/amsub/amsub_clparams.dat

or 

2. to rebuild parts of the AAPP system by running INST_3 with manual input

option 6     (rebuild part of the system)
option 17    (amsubcl)

What are the modifications?

This updated version of the AMSU-B calibration file amsub-clparams.dat
contains revised limits for the warm and cold calibration counts for
channels 3 and 4 on NOAA16.
This deals with the problem which has been apparent since 22nd April of 
missing scanlines as a result of the warm calibration counts for these
channesl hitting the previous limits.
