You will probably have seen that AAPP v8.1 was released on 25th January. See https://nwp-saf.eumetsat.int/site/aapp-v8-1-released/.
We have now also released a new version of OPS-LRS, v8.0. It incorporates the latest OPS release from CNES, and addresses two issues that are listed on the AAPP “bugs” page. There is no change to the scientific content of the package or the way it is run.
To download OPS-LRS v8.0 you will first have to modify your software preferences: Select “Software Downloads” (at top of page) then click on “Change Software Preferences” and tick the box for OPS-LRS v8.
The example AAPP build script (https://nwp-saf.eumetsat.int/downloads/aapp_data_files/install_aapp8.sh) has been updated to use OPS-LRS v8.0.
