AMSU-A channel 3 on Metop-B has been slowly degrading for some years. In the last few days the warm counts have gone below the existing lower limit in AAPP. To restore calibration you can update the amsua_clparams.dat file on your systems. You can find the new one at ftp://ftp.eumetsat.int/pub/NWPSAF/aapp_data_files/atovs_cal_files/.
In AAPP, this file exists at AAPP/src/calibration/libamsuacl and in the installation directory at AAPP/data/calibration/coef/amsua.
